This croissant recipe is one of my new favorite weekend brunch ideas! They are super easy to make and can feed a crowd. They are also insanely addictive, I could pretty much eat the entire tray! I used pre-made croissant (“crescent”) dough, because frankly I do not have the time or the energy to attempt homemade dough. With the pre-made dough, it’s as simple as rolling up the ham, cheese and dough and popping them in the oven.  I added a little melted butter and sprinkled Trader Joe’s “Everything But The Bagel Seasoning” on top. I love using white cheddar cheese but you can really use whatever you have on hand such as swiss, regular cheddar or even gruyere for a fancier croissant! Enjoy!

Makes 8 Croissants

Ingredients:

1 can of Croissant Dough (tons of different brands out there but can’t go wrong with Pillsbury Crescent Dough!)

8 slices of your favorite ham

4 slices of White Cheddar Cheese (or whatever you are using!)

1 tbsp of Butter

TJ’s Everything But The Bagel Seasoning

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees or whatever temperature the dough calls for. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

2. Unroll the croissant dough, there should be 8 pre-cut triangles. Starting with the wider side of the dough, place a folded piece of ham and half of a slice of cheese on top of the dough. Tightly roll the dough starting from the wide end until you reach the narrow end. Repeat for as many rolls as you are making.

3. Place rolls on the pan, brush with a little bit of butter and sprinkle with EBTB seasoning. Bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes until the dough starts to puff and is golden brown.
