If you are looking for a quick and easy no-bake dessert this is the recipe for you! Everyone loves fresh strawberries dipped in chocolate and the topping options are endless! I used semi-sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips from Whole Foods, but you can use dark or milk chocolate as well! Make sure that the chips say “baking chips” as these melt easier and give the glossy finish we are looking for. You can melt the chocolate chips in the microwave, however you need to do it on a low setting and stir every 30 seconds to make sure that the chocolate does not burn. The best way to melt the chocolate is to bring a medium saucepan with about 3 to 4 inches of water to a simmer. You then turn off the heat and place a glass bowl with the chocolate on top of the saucepan and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Let me know if you have any questions!

Makes 30 Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Ingredients:

2 cups of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking Chips

1 ½ cups of White Chocolate Baking Chips

2 containers of Strawberries ~ 30 Strawberries

Toppings such as Oreos, nuts or sprinkles!

I opted for three different kinds - chocolate with white chocolate drizzle, chocolate with peanuts and white chocolate with Oreo Crumble!

1. Thoroughly wash and dry all the strawberries. You want to make sure the strawberries are completely dry or else the chocolate will not adhere well.

2. Line a baking sheet with wax paper.

3. In a medium saucepan heat about 3 to 4 inches of water over medium heat. Once the water begins to simmer cut the heat and place a glass bowl with 2 cups of the semi-sweet chocolate chips on top of the saucepan. Continuously stir until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat.

4. Dip all of the strawberries that you want in the semi-sweet chocolate and place on the wax paper. If you are adding toppings you will want to sprinkle them on while the chocolate is still melted.

5. Bring the saucepan back to a simmer and cut the heat. Place another glass bowl with the white chocolate on top of the saucepan and stir until completely melted and smooth. Remove from heat.

6. Dip all of the strawberries that you want in the white chocolate and place on the wax paper. Add any toppings while the chocolate is still melted.

7. Let the strawberries set for about 30 minutes. You will know they are ready when the chocolate looks completely dried and you can peel the strawberries from the wax paper. Enjoy!
