Skyler Bouchard's DIY Levain Chocolate Walnut Cookies

To be completely honest I have never had a Levain Chocolate Walnut Cookie, but this copycat recipe is so good I don't know if I even need to try the original! Skyler's main point when making this recipe is to work quickly make sure the butter does not get soft. The first time I made this recipe I did just that and they turned out perfectly! The second time the butter was a little too soft and the cookies ended up spreading on the pan. They were still delicious, just not as thick. Cannot recommend this recipe enough!!!
