Green beans are definitely a Thanksgiving staple, however I put a little twist on these green beans and tossed them with an Asian marinade! I topped them with crispy onions, but sliced almonds would be equally delicious!

Serves 8-10

Ingredients:

1-2 lbs of Green Beans

Crispy Onions or Sliced Almonds

3 tbsp Soy Sauce

2 tbsp Rice Wine Vinegar

1 tbsp Honey

1 tsp Sesame Oil (a little goes a long way)

1 tsp Ground Mustard

1. Place green beans in a large pan and pour ¼ a cup of water over them. Heat over medium to high heat until water starts to boil. Cover the pan and let the green beans steam for 3-4 minutes until tender.

2. Whisk soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, honey, sesame oil and ground mustard in a small bowl.

3. Transfer green beans from the pan to a dish or serving platter.

4. Drizzle the Asian dressing over the green beans and top with the crispy onions or almonds! Enjoy!
