Baked brie can be a little intimidating, but it is much easier than it seems and is guaranteed to be a favorite appetizer! This version has honey and almonds but there are so many options, whether you go sweet or savory!

Serves 4-6
Ingredients:
8oz Brie Wheel (I use the brand President)
1 Puff Pastry Sheet (typically comes in a pack of 2!)
3 tbsp. of Honey
Handful of Slivered Almonds
1 egg
1. Set puff pastry out to thaw - about 20 minutes until it is pliable. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
2. Top center of brie wheel with honey and almonds.
3. Once the puff pastry thawed lay it on top of the brie.
4. Hold the bottom of the brie and flip over, so that the brie is now laying on top of the toppings and pastry. This can be the tricky part but you want to make sure that the toppings do not spilling over.
5. Wrap pastry dough around the bottom of the brie and trim if needed. You want to make sure to seal pastry together so there is no leakage.
6. Flip back so the non-seamed side of the pastry is upright. Crack egg in a bowl and mix with 1 tbsp. of water. Brush the egg mixture evenly over the pastry.
7. Bake the pastry for 20 minutes at 350 until the pastry is golden brown. Serve immediately with a variety of crackers - enjoy!
