These brussel sprouts are super easy to make and the combination of maple syrup and bacon makes it a great sweet and savory side dish! I am definitely not the best at figuring out portions and ended up having a ton of leftovers. My best guess would be a little less than ¼ pound per person!

Serves 6-8

Ingredients:

1-2lbs of Brussel Sprouts (depending on how many people you are serving)

12 oz of your favorite Bacon (one pack should do it)

3 tbsp. of Maple Syrup

2 tbsp. of Butter

Salt to Taste

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

2. Wash Brussel Sprouts and slice each one in half. This can be time consuming but it helps each and every brussel sprout get nice and crispy.

3. Microwave butter for 15 seconds until it is melted. Mix in maple syrup.

4. Toss brussel sprouts on sheet pan with maple syrup and butter mixture. Bake for 30 - 40 minutes until the brussel sprouts start to get crispy. Toss once halfway through.

5. While the brussel sprouts are baking it is time to cook the bacon! You can cook the bacon in strips and then crumble it,  but I find it easier to cut the bacon into small pieces and then saute over medium heat. This helps ensure that the bacon is consistent and crunchy.

6. Once brussel sprouts are done toss with bacon and enjoy!

Tip: This is an easy dish to make ahead of time and then reheat in the oven, 20-25 minutes at 350 will do the trick!
