Sautéed Okra

I love Okra, but it can be tricky to find. I grabbed some from Union Market in DC last weekend but you can also find them at Safeway! I adapted this dish from one of my favorite restaurants in DC, Doi Moi. This is super easy and a must try!

Serves 2-3
Ingredients:
1 pack of Okra (about 10-12 pieces of Okra)
½ White Onion
Red Pepper Flakes
1 tbsp. Butter
1. Wash okra and chop into small pieces. Dice onion.
2. Heat butter over medium to high heat in a medium sized pan. Once the butter is melted add okra and onion.
3. Sauté for 10-15 minutes until okra starts to become crisp and golden.
4. Add red pepper flakes and serve!
